Valley's Community Action Ministry
Committee members and volunteers are needed to help promote and coordinate Community Action events that benefit the ministry partners that Valley supports. If you are a Covenant Member at Valley, and would like to join our Community Action Team, contact Michelle Cassens. Refugee Resettlement Project
Working with the Minnesota Council of Churches Refugee Services is one of our Community Life initiatives. We are currently committed to a refugee family. Find more information here. Volunteers are need for: - Cleaning and setting up the family's apartment prior to their arrival - Greeting the family at the airport and providing a welcome meal - Helping the family learn public transportation routes - Arranging social outings, such as trips to the grocery store or library - Serving as an employment mentor and teaching about U.S. work culture | Good in the 'Hood
