Lead Pastor
Dave Burkum began his ministry as Valley's Lead Pastor in 2007. For fifteen years previous to that, he served as the Campus Pastor and Ministry Director for Christian Student Fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Dave and his wife Cheri have three grown sons, two daughters-in-law, and three grandsons. Besides ministry, Dave loves music, reading, writing, and trips to the North Shore of Lake Superior.

Associate Pastor
JJ began serving at Valley in 2008. He previously helped plant a church in Eagan and served as the Associate Minister at Countryside Church in Owatonna, MN for 3 years. JJ and and his wife, NaTasha, live in Apple Valley with their dog, Harley. JJ is a sports enthusiast with an undying love for his Packers, and enjoys playing soccer and softball. He also has a keen interest in theater, music.

Associate Pastor
Jonathan Miller will be starting his ministry as Valley's Associate Pastor of Music and Worship in July 2011.  For the last five years he has been on the worship staff at First Christian Church in Council Bluffs Iowa.  Jonathan and his wife Nicolle are expecting their first child in May of 2011. Jonathan enjoys music, fishing, reading, and spending time at the cabin with family.

Mike  came to Valley in 2008, after serving for four years as the student pastor at Cross of Christ Church in Lakeville.  Mike is passionate about encouraging, equipping, and empowering students and their families to know and live for Christ.  Mike and his wife, Mahin, have three daughters. Mike's favorite pastimes include time with his girls, riding his motorcycle, and working out in the gym.

Jeff Collins began his ministry with Valley in January 2003.  Previously he was a Children's
Pastor in Oklahoma for six years.  Jeff and his wife, Margaret, have seven children.  Besides ministry, Jeff loves spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and wrestling with his kids.

Associate Pastor
Sheri Lynch began working at Valley in 1991. She and her husband, Bill, have called Valley their church home since 1982. She has served in a wide variety of volunteer ministries which currently includes working with the pastoral care team, a LifeGroup, and a Women's Bible study.  Sheri and Bill have three grown children, two of whom are married.  Sheri enjoys reading, gardening, cross-country skiing, and walking her dog, Annie.

Jr. High Student Ministry Intern
Nick has began attending Valley Christian Church in 2009. He currently works for Renewal by Andersen and is pursuing a degree in ministry at Northwestern College.  Nick has a deep love for the Lord and kids of all ages. He is passionate about working with Jr. High students, and feels blessed to serve Valley.  When Nick isn't working or studying he loves fishing, spending time with friends, family, and his youth group.

Facilities and Building Management
Jerry lives in Farmington and has been a member at Valley since 1982 and has served on the elder board for many of those years. He also oversees the maintenance of Valley's facility and grounds. Jerry served in the U.S. Navy submarine force for ten years. He then worked in the telephone industry for 26 years and retired in 1993. His wife Judy passed away in 2003. Jerry has two sons, one daughter and nine grandchildren. Jerry loves spending time with his family, playing golf, pickle-ball, and woodworking.
