Financial Peace University
_January 7 - March 12, 2013
CLICK HERE FOR NEXT SESSION INFO We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that life-changing plan! It teaches God's ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, Financial Peace University is highly entertaining for everyone. Each class has a unique combination of humor and practical biblical advice to get from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more! FPU classes meet for around an hour and a half each week for nine weeks. See the full nine-week lesson plan. The next time we will offer this educational series will be January 8, 2013 through March 12, 2013. For more information, Email Chad & Lori Thompson. CLICK HERE FOR NEXT SESSION INFO Are you trying to lose weight or working to maintain a healthy weight? Do you want support toward exercise, nutrition, and healthy eating habits? Join with others at church for a short weekly meeting where we will share our goals, weigh-in, offer encouragement, and pray for each other. This is not a group that follows a specific plan or tells you what to do. It's simply about mutual encouragement, accountability, and a shared commitment to honor God and seek his help as we strive to live healthier lives. The group is led by Pastor Dave Burkum and Ted Tellman. CLICK HERE if you have questions. Turning Point Recovery Group

CLICK HERE FOR NEXT SESSION INFO Turning Point is a wellness ministry of Valley Christian Church. Our desire is to help people in our church and community to attain and maintain sobriety from alcohol and substance abuse. We practice the same Principles and Promises as Alcoholics Anonymous and share Jesus Christ as our common “higher power.” We want Valley to place where recovering alcoholics and addicts will find true acceptance and a sense of what unconditional love is all about. Turning Point is a safe, non-judgmental setting where those turning away from alcohol and substance abuse can express their struggles, thoughts, ideas, and feelings without fear of rejection.
