SPECIAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES
Facility Accessibility
Our facility is wheelchair accessible. There are no steps in our main facility.
All restrooms are equipped with wide doors, accessible sinks, and support bars.
Parking Spaces
We have disability parking spaces by all three entrances. The greatest number of disability parking spots are located on the entrance from the Southside Parking Lot. The Southside Entrance has an automated door opener and a wide doorway.
Worship Center
Our worship center has movable chairs. The entire seating area has a level floor. Some seating space is typically reserved near the middle entrance doors to the worship center. An additional TV screen is provided near that seating area to make sure those who are unable to stand are able to see what is being projected even if people are standing in front of them. Whatever your need for seating, we will do our best accommodate you.
Sensory Room
We work to develop a support team for families who have a child with special needs. Our sensory room and volunteer team members help families provide care and need appropriate resources. We want families to be able to participate as fully as possible in the life of our church. Disability needs are unique to each situation, and so we will address needs one person and family at a time.
Private Family Bathroom with Adult Changing Table
In the hallway near the Southside Entrance, there is an oversized disability-friendly private family bathroom. This bathroom is also equipped with an adult changing table. All bathrooms in our building are wheelchair accessible and disability-friendly.
Assisted Listening Devices
We offer assisted listening devices for people who have need. These devices receive signals directly from the sound system and play them at the volume selected on the device through headphones. Please request one at the sound board in the rear of the Worship Center.
