SMALL GROUPS AT VALLEY
Small groups are a vital part of a Christ-centered community within Valley, forming κοινωνία while living out God’s kingdom on Earth. Below is a list of groups during the Autumn 2023 quarter, which begins the week of September 17.
People interested in joining a group should try to explore groups no later than the end of September, after which point groups may be closed for the rest of the quarter. To learn more about a group, email its leaders or click link.

General Groups
Nelson’s Group
Every Monday starting Sept 18 from 5:30-7:30 pm in Rosemount
This group will focus on hospitality both locally and globally. We will have dinner together.

Every Sunday, 4:00 pm-6:00 pm. This group meets over Zoom.
This group helps connect people who are only able to meet over Zoom at this time. Prayer, encouragement, and talking about Jesus are all part of this time together.

Every Tuesday starting Sept 19 from 6:30-8pm in Farmington
This group will focus on fellowship and bible study.

In addition to community and fellowship, this group will be guided through excerpts from “Instant Bible Studies for Small Groups.” Hosted at the Frick’s home.

In addition to community & fellowship, this group will be focused on Scripture-based devotions. No childcare available.

Abide
Every Sunday starting Sept 17 from 11:30 am-1:30 pm at Valley
Learning together how to more closely and practically abide in Christ. This first quarter will focus on implementing sabbath time in our week.
We’ll meet weekly over lunch, study, discussion, and prayer. All are welcome. Possible childcare available.

This group will focus on fellowship, prayer, and discussing the previous Sunday’s message. This group will be geared toward single or widowed adults.

This is an intergenerational, adult-only group. We will focus on fellowship and mutual support as we seek, share, and serve together.
