Pie Night!
After Youth Group on Wednesday, October 16, we're going to meet at Perkins in Apple Valley on 42 and Cedar. Bring your own money (and remember to tip as if your Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills! :) ). If you are looking for a carpool, please reach out. Families are welcome to join us. See you there!
Looking Ahead
Keep your eyes open for upcoming information about Samaritan Enchiladas, which is our November service project, and also a separate email with a very generous invitation from one of our adult Youth Volunteers - lots of great stuff coming soon!
Announcing a Change in our Study Plans!
Not sure if y'all have noticed, but there are MORE of us! SouthSide A is feeling wonderfully full and delightfully engaged in our Bible discussion! YAY!
We want to make sure everyone who wants to share has a chance to during our Bible Study, and we also want to make sure that our small groups have time to share and pray before the end of the night.
So ... we are shifting our plans a bit. We find videos from The Bible Project to be really valuable, we find them related to our studies, and we want to share them with you all, but we are NOT going to watch a video during our youth group every week.
We encourage students and/or families to watch these videos on their own as another way to think about what the Bible says about God. We'll share a link each week, which will link to YouTube. Families concerned about young students accessing YouTube can also find these videos at www.bibleproject.com
