Thanks for bearing with all these emails…can you tell we’re excited about Walk Week 2021?! I hope this email finds you doing well and beginning to enjoy warmer weather! There is a lot going on with GoCorps this Spring that I have been keeping quite busy. We also took a week of vacation to spend some time together as a family outdoors and it was wonderful! Here are some highlights: Starting April 11th, GoCorps is having it's 2nd annual Walk Week. The purpose of Walk Week is to bring awareness to the fact that there are so many people (3 billion!!!) that don't have access to the Gospel. Many of you have signed up, but if you're interested, click on the link above! In March and April during a "normal" year, I would be busy preparing for GoWeek, the training GoCorps holds twice a year for those recent college graduates we send overseas. This year we are planning on holding a hybrid type of training which is still early in the planning phase. You can definitely keep GoCorps in your prayers as we make the best decisions to keep our Goers healthy! CONTINUE READING THE FULL UPDATE
GoCorps is in an exciting season with the start of a new school year! We have started to attend virtual career fairs across the country. Two weeks ago I "attended" a career fair in Western Pennsylvania on Wednesday and then "attended" a career fair in Southern California! Both events were a great opportunity to share more about GoCorps with students. (Although I would have preferred to be in Southern California for the career fair!) Keep Reading.

Greetings from GoCorps! I hope that your summer was refreshing and full of outdoor adventures! Fall and everything that comes with it has begun… students have begun classes, and whatever the Fall of 2020 looks like for all of us is beginning! Here’s the latest from GoCorps and our staff team… GoWeek 2020! Since we weren’t able to have a GoWeek in May, we’ve combined the two cohorts and GoWeek 2020 starts on Sunday and goes through Friday 9/18! We are excited to welcome our class of 2020 Goers to our first ever virtual GoWeek! We’ll have 19 Goers from 14 different universities getting ready to go to 10 countries! Please pray for Katy, Julia and the rest of our staff as they put on a week of Zoom calls and virtual activities to get this great group of Goers trained up. Also, please pray for our Goers. GoWeek is always a really important ‘stake in the ground’ event where it is very normal for Goers to look back at the event and realize that God confirmed his calling and they made an even deep commitment to the journey of serving overseas for two years. Pray with us that God does this for our class of 2020 Goers. These calls are 30 minutes on the dot, from 11-11:30am Central Time. One of our staff interviews a different Goer each month, and then together, on the call, we take a few minutes to pray for the Goer. You can join and simply observe and be blessed, or you can jump in the prayer time and the optional interaction time at the end.
